Without a I called Broom for a second opinion on a Friday morning. The technician came out Friday afternoon and was very professional and knowledgeable. Turns out my old system needed replacement. When the tech was finished I assumed I wouldn’t hear anything until Monday, but that wasn’t the case. The salesman, Daniel, came out that evening and took pictures and gave me three quotes. He answered any questions and was happy to help. I was given the option to replace part or the whole system. I was never pressured. It was what was best for me. They even loaned me a portable unit My system was installed Monday morning. The installers were also very nice and professional. This company prides itself in helping others and a job well done. Very happy with my experience., the best HVAC company in Columbia, SC. I have tried “the other guys” and found all of them to be indifferent and/or incompetent. Call Marty if you want a great install!

When you look up Customer Service it reads: “Customer Service is the support you offer your customers, both before and after they buy and use your products or services, that helps them (the Customer) have an easy and enjoyable experience with you.” I received more then that from Broom H&A, I was provided AMAZING Customer Service. Russ, Gina- provide excellent phone service, Paul- the fireplace guy replaced my vent less gas FP with ease and made the new one fit perfect, Adam- the electrical guy replaced my stove exhaust and had to replace a part of the exhaust pipe and it looks beautiful, Stetson, Edwin, and Kevin- the gas line installs guys put in a new gas line and hooked up my new gas stove plus extra for me. Not a one of them left a mess. Yep, they cleaned up after themselves. Every one of them had a job to do and boy did they deliver good quality care and Broom is reasonably priced too. I am so happy I found them online.

We’ve been using Broom Heating & Air for years for repairs and maintenance on our dinosaur units. They have been great! We went with them again when we finally decided to replace the units. They did not disappoint! They came in and helped us figure out what would work best for us one week, the order was placed, and the work was complete the following week. They kept us informed at every step in the process from what time they would be at the house each day to what was being done that day. They even followed up with us to make sure everything is running properly. I would highly recommend using them for repairs, maintenance, or replacements. Oh and they do fireplace maintenance! Ours had stopped working and they came in and took care of that during a routine maintenance appointment. Call them!

I’ve been a customer for about 9 years and have always been impressed with Broom’s service. Recently, I called them with when my AC stopped working completely on a Sunday afternoon. I expected to have to wait at least until Monday for a service call, but Chris came over within an hour or so, diagnosed the problem, and had it up and running again very quickly. I have always been impressed with Broom’s service and getting a service call done so quickly on a extremely hot August Sunday was truly exceptional service. I can not recommend Broom more highly!

Eric (I think I have it right) was the technician and he made sure to let us know exactly what was going on with the unit and some advice on what issues it may have and recommended work. Update: This week our upstairs unit went caput, but once again Broom came to the rescue! This time David Gregory replaced the capacitor on our original unit that came with the house, and now we’re cooling off again.

My system had stopped working and Broom Heating & Air responded quickly. Eric was the technician sent. While he was here he also performed my semi-annual maintenance on my gas pack and heat pump. Eric quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He then proceeded to do my scheduled maintenance. It so happens that while he was here a water line under the house broke and he even helped me get the water cut off. In all, I am extremely satisfied with my service experience.

A business is no better than its employees. From the initial call (Gina & Niki), to sales (Daniel) to The tech (Grant), Broom H&A figured that one out a long time ago.
I needed duct work, HVAC maintenance, and a split unit raised off the ground. Grant took the lead on those projects. Broom could not have a better person to represent. The projects were completed on time and the quality of the work is 5 star. The price was very reasonable and I wasn’t coaxed into something I didn’t need. I was explained what was to be done in a language even I could understand. Broom said numerous times, “we want you to be happy” and the job done right. I highly recommend Broom H&A. I had used another HVAC maintenance company for 25 years but they do not service gas fireplaces. Broom is one of two companies in Columbia, SC that is certified to service gas fireplaces., so I changed maintenance companies. Not only is fire place serviced annually, my experience with biannual service on my heat pump unit has been excellent.
